The EDM work cell harbors the latest in Advanced Manufacturing Automation. This position will be responsible for being proficient in all aspects of the EDM work cell leading to the production of quality parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned

  • Estimation of Burn and Machining times.
  • Understanding and Optimization of All Components in the Work Cell Including:
  • Makino F5/Pro 5 Control
  • PowerMill Tool Pathing Including 5-axis
  • Power Inspect for electrodes “Inspection”
  • Erowa Compact 80 Robot
  • Aligning JMS Pro with RFID for Long Carbon Machining Runs
  • OPS Eagle 2000 Control with Multiprog Technology
  • Maintain the 5S and Visual Management Boards
  • Organize the Digital and Physical Electrodes
  • Partner with CAD Surfacing Seeking Optimized Electrode Design
  • Building Raw Material for Machining “Carbon”
  • Kitting Electrodes to Job Numbers


High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of Machining or Mold Making experience preferred. Experience working with Tooling Management Software a plus. Operating a Zoller Tool Measurement machine preferred. Experience working with tooling vendors and suppliers also preferred.
